Use about 18 inches of dental floss and wrap it around your fingers with a gentle sawing motion before guiding it between each tooth.
  • To complete your daily oral care routine, rinse with an antiseptic mouthwash for added protection against bacteria that cause bad breath and gum disease. Swish the mouthwash around for about 30 seconds before spitting it out.
  • In addition to these basic steps, don't forget to replace your toothbrush every three months or sooner if the bristles become frayed. And make sure you schedule regular visits with your dentist for professional cleanings and check-ups.
